Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of CameraRentSaaS. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

CameraRentSaaS provides software for camera and photography equipment rental businesses to publish a booking page, manage equipment, bookings, customers and payment records. We are not a party to rentals between a Shop and its customers. Each Shop is responsible for its equipment, rental terms, pricing, deposits, customer communication, collection of payments and compliance with laws that apply to its business.

3. Accounts

• You must give accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and your team members' accounts.
• You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for your business.

4. Plans, trial and billing

• New Shops receive a 14-day Pro trial without a payment method. At the end of the trial the Shop moves to the Free plan unless Pro is paid.
• Pro is prepaid. Each successful payment covers the period shown at checkout (currently 30 days). Prices are in Philippine pesos and may change with at least 30 days' notice.
• If a Pro period ends without renewal, a short grace period applies and the Shop then moves to Free. Data is not deleted when moving to Free, but plan limits apply.
• Payments are processed by PayMongo. Except where required by law, payments for periods already started are not refundable.

5. Free plan and fair use

The Free plan includes up to 3 rentable equipment units and one user. Pro includes unlimited units subject to fair use (currently up to 300 rentable units per Shop). We may limit automated, abusive or excessive use that affects the service for others.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for illegal activity, fraud, or to rent items you do not have the right to rent;
• upload content that is unlawful, infringing or misleading;
• try to access another Shop's data, disrupt the service, or bypass security or plan limits;
• collect government ID images or sensitive personal information through free-text fields.

7. Your data

You keep ownership of the data you put into the service. You give us permission to host and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect your customers' information and for giving them any required notices. You can export your data at any time.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and secure but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce paid features.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, CameraRentSaaS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost or damaged equipment, or disputes between a Shop and its customers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or create risk for others, with notice where reasonable.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
